中考英語語法完全突破——賓語從句

一、概述

所謂賓語從句，指的是在復合句中用作賓語的從句。如：

He believed what she said. 他相信她說的話。

He asked if we wanted a drink. 他問我們是否想喝一杯。

You know that I work very hard. 你知道我工作很努力。

以上三句中what she said, if we wanted a drink, that I work very hard均為賓語從句，分別用作動詞believed, asked, know的賓語。

賓語從句除可用作及物動詞的賓語外，也可作介詞的賓語。如：

I don’t agree with what you say. 我不完全同意你的話。

I was rather angry at what he said. 我對他說的話相當生氣。

二、考點歸納

考點1  考查賓語從句的詞序問題

根據英語語法規則，賓語必須使用陳述句詞序，即采用“主語+謂語+賓語”的詞序，并且這樣的詞序與主句是否為疑問句無關，也就是說，不管主句是陳述句還是疑問句，賓語從句都一律使用陳述語序。如：

我不知道你為什么這么生氣。

誤：I don’t know why are you so angry.

正：I don’t know why you’re so angry.

你認為他講的是真話嗎？

誤：Do you think was he speaking the truth?

正：Do you think he was speaking the truth?

【考例1】The new-designed car is on show now. I wonder ________. (河北中考題)

A. how much it cost                           B. how much did it cost

C. how much it costs                         D. how much does it cost

【分析】答案選C。由于在賓語從句只能用陳述句詞序，而不能用疑問詞序，所以可排除B和D；再根據前文的時態可知，該賓語從句也應用一般現在時，故選C不選B。

【考例2】Excuse me, sir. Could you tell me ________? (廣州中考題)

A. where is the bank nearest           B. where is the nearest bank

C. where the nearest bank is           D. the nearest bank is where

【分析】答案選C。賓語從句必須使用陳述句詞序，而不能用疑問詞序，故可排除A和B；至于D，疑問詞不能放在句末，它必須用于賓語從句開頭，用于引導賓語從句，故可排除D。

考點2  將詞序問題與時態問題結合考查

賓語從句有兩個非常重要的考點：一是考查詞序問題（參見考點1的有關說明），二是考查時態問題。

關于賓語從句的時態問題，同學們要注意以下兩點：

1. 若主句的謂語動詞是一般現在時，賓語從句的謂語動詞可根據情況使用各種時態。

2. 若主句的謂語動詞是一般過去時，則賓語從句的謂語習慣上也要用某種過去時態（如一般過去時、過去進行時、過去將來時等）。比較：

He says that he lives in the city. 他說他住在城里。

He said that he lived in the city. 他說他住在城里。

但是，若賓語從句所述內容為客觀真理，則不管主句用什么時態，從句一律使用一般現在時。如：

Knowledge is power. (http://ask.yygrammar.com/) 知識就是力量。

The teacher told us that knowledge is power. 老師告訴我們知識就是力量。
