九、考查非謂語動詞作主語時的主謂一致

當(dāng)非謂語動詞用作句子主語時，謂語動詞原則上要用單數(shù)。同學(xué)們做題時要注意，非謂語動詞若帶有自己的賓語，且其賓語為復(fù)數(shù)形式，此時不要受此影響而誤用復(fù)數(shù)謂語。

【例1】Climbing hills _______ of great help to our health. (湖北十堰中考題)

A. was                   B. were                  C. is                        D. are

解析：句子主語climbing hills為動名詞，故謂語動詞要用單數(shù)形式，即答案為C。注意不要受climbing的賓語hills的影響而誤用復(fù)數(shù)謂語。

十、綜合主謂一致和其他語法知識

【例1】—Our hometown is becoming more and more beautiful.

—Sure. Many trees ________ every year. (四川廣安中考題)

A. plant                 B. is planted         C. are planted      D. have planted

解析：由于trees與plant之間為被動關(guān)系，故句子應(yīng)用被動語態(tài)，可排除A和D；又因為many trees為復(fù)數(shù)，故選C。

【例2】—I can’t find Ted for three days. Where is he?

—He ________ Beijing for a meeting. (廣西玉林中考題)

A. has been to     B. has gone to     C. have been to   D. have gone to

解析：由于說話者說三天沒找到特德，這說明特德離開去其他地方了，故應(yīng)用have gone to而不是用have been to，可排除A和C；又因為主語是單數(shù)，故選B不選D。
