【問題分析】a noticeably improvement中，noticeably在這里作定語，修飾名詞improvement，因此，按照英語語法應改為形容詞形式noticeable。

八、冠詞的使用問題

對中國英語學習者來說，英語冠詞的使用是一個很頭痛的問題。有時，運用不當會導致誤解。如a socialist democracy and legal system were being built一句中，a socialist democracy and legal system到底指一種體制還是兩種體制？如果是一種體制，那么democracy和legal應該都是用來修飾system的，因此應將democracy改為democratic。這樣一來，就還存在主謂數不一致問題，應將were改為was。如果是兩種體制，那么必須在legal system前添加一個不定冠詞，而且根據上下文還需要添加socialist一詞，即把legal system改為a socialist legal system才符合原文意思和英文表達習慣。從下文來看，第二種理解可能更符合原文意思。下面兩例也存在明顯的冠詞使用不當問題：
