對我來說, 這樣的詞典有一本就夠了。

每一種那樣的可能都要考慮。

正：Every such possibity must be considered.

誤：Such every possibity must be considered.

我希望永遠不要再遇上那樣的事故。

正：I hope never to meet another such accident.

誤：I hope never to meet such another accident.

但是such要放在 a, an 之前(www.hz123456.com)：

我從未聽說這樣的事。

正：I have never heard such a thing.

誤：I have never heard a such thing.

33. 正確區分 be afraid to do / be afraid of doing

He was afraid ______ because he was afraid ______ his legs.

此題應選C。這里主要涉及以下兩個結構：

a. be afraid to do sth

b. be afraid of doing sth

1. be afraid to do 主要指按照經驗或常識不敢去做某事或沒有勇氣去做某事。如：

The little boy was afraid to go out at night. 這個小男孩晚上不敢出去。

注：在現代英語中, 也可以用 be afraid of doing 結構來表示上述意思。如：

He was afraid to tell [of telling] his wife. 他不敢告訴他妻子。

2. be afraid of doing 主要表示擔心會發生某事(是一種無意行為), 此時不能用 be afraid to do 結構。如：

I was afraid of hurting his feelings. 我怕傷了他的感情。
