20. Anyone can’t do it. 合習(xí)慣嗎 It is too difficult I’m afraid ______ do it. A. no one can B. anyone can’t C. anyone can D. no one can’t 此題應(yīng)選A。很容易誤選B。按漢語(yǔ)的表達(dá)習(xí)慣, 此句可理解為“這事太難了, 恐怕任何人都干不了”。所以有的考生套此意思選用了anyone can’t這一答案。 但是按英語(yǔ)的習(xí)慣:像any, anyone, anything, either等這類非肯定詞只能出現(xiàn)在否定詞之后, 而不能出現(xiàn)在其前: 1. 以下各句是對(duì)的, 因?yàn)?/FONT>any, either等非肯定詞出現(xiàn)在否定詞(not)之后: He can’t do any work. 他不能干任何工作。 I don’t think either is rigth. 我想兩個(gè)都不對(duì)。 2. 以下各個(gè)錯(cuò)句錯(cuò)的原因就是any, either等非肯定詞放在否定詞(not)之前: 任何人也干不了這事。 誤:Anyone [Anybody] can’t do it. 正:No one [Nobody] can do it. 我朋友當(dāng)中沒有一個(gè)懂法語(yǔ)。 誤:Any friend of mine knows no French. 正:None of my friends know French. 什么也不能阻擋我去。 誤:Anything cannot prevent me from going. 正:Nothing can prevent me from going. 這兩部汽車都不便宜。 誤:Either of the two cars is not cheap. 正:Neither of the two cars is cheap. 21. 注意分清是特殊疑問(wèn)句還是一般疑問(wèn)句 —Do you ______ when he will come back? —I’ve no idea. A. think B. suppose C. know D. believe 此題應(yīng)選C。其余三項(xiàng)都可能被誤選。關(guān)于這個(gè)問(wèn)題, 請(qǐng)注意以下兩類句型: 1. 疑問(wèn)詞+do you think (believe, imagine, suppose, guess, etc)+主語(yǔ)+謂語(yǔ)+其它?(譯成中文通常可在句末加上一個(gè)“呢”字): Who do you think that man is? 你認(rèn)為那個(gè)人是誰(shuí)? What do you think we should say at the meeting? 你認(rèn)為我們?cè)跁?huì)上應(yīng)說(shuō)些什么呢? When do you believe he will come? 你認(rèn)為他什么時(shí)候來(lái)呢? Where do you suppose she has gone? 你認(rèn)為她到哪里去了呢? What do you guess he wants? 你猜他想要什么呢? 2. Do you know (hear, ask, tell, etc)+疑問(wèn)詞+主語(yǔ)+謂語(yǔ)+其它? (譯成中文通常可以在句末加上“嗎”字) Do you know who that man is? 你知道那個(gè)人是誰(shuí)嗎? Do you know when he left here? 你知道他是什么時(shí)候離開這里的嗎? Do you hear when he will come back? 你聽說(shuō)他什么時(shí)候會(huì)回來(lái)嗎? Did you ask why he had left so soon? 你問(wèn)過(guò)他為什么那么快就離開嗎? Did you tell her who he was? 你告訴了她他是誰(shuí)嗎? 22. much too還是too much The problem is ______ difficult. You needn’t spend ______ time on it.
