“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”是英語(yǔ)的常見(jiàn)現(xiàn)象。除此之外，還有下列幾種情況：

（not否定介詞短語(yǔ)by train，相當(dāng)于They came not by train.）

5. I don’t find the story interesting.我發(fā)現(xiàn)故事沒(méi)有趣。

（not否定賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)interesting，相當(dāng)于I find the story not interesting.）

6. ---What did you think of the film last night? ---It couldn’t be better.

“你認(rèn)為昨晚的電影怎么樣？”--- “好極了。”

（couldn’t是“不可能”，better是“更好”。“不可能更好”意味著“再好不過(guò)了”。當(dāng)can’t 或couldn’t 跟比較級(jí)連用時(shí)，它們并沒(méi)有否定謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞，而是否定了“比較級(jí)”，因而更加重了肯定的含義。又如：I can’t agree more. 我再同意不過(guò)了。）

7. I can’t thank you enough. 我對(duì)你真是感激不盡。

（not否定enough，意味著“感激不夠”，又如：We couldn’t enjoy your meal enough. 你做的飯我們喜歡不夠。）　

8. We can’t praise the novel too highly. 這部小說(shuō)我們?cè)趺促潛P(yáng)都不過(guò)分。

（not否定too highly，意味著“贊揚(yáng)的程度不過(guò)分”。）
