◆half adj. & pron.

1. 關于詞序:

(1) 與不定冠詞連用時，在英美語中詞序不同。如：half an hour(英)＝a half hour(美)(半小時) / half a mile(英)＝a half mile(美)(半英里) / half a pound(英)＝a half pound(美)(半磅)

(2) 與定冠詞、形容詞性物主代詞、指示代詞等詞連用時，應放在這些詞之前(此時也可用 half of)。如：

Half (of) the fruit is bad. 水果有一半是壞的。

More than half (of) my friends are foreigners. 我的朋友一大半是外國人。

注：用于代詞時前必須有介詞 of。如：half of them, half ofit 等。
