◆by hand & with one’s hand(s)

1. by hand 是固定短語，有兩個意思: 一是指“用手工”( 而不是用機器或其它手段)；二是指信件之類的東西由專人遞送(而不是通常郵寄等)。如：

The letter was written by hand. 這封信是用手寫的(即不是打印的)。

I don’t think these shoes are made by hand. 我想這些鞋不是手工做的吧(即是機器做的)。

Did the letter come by hand or through the post? 這封信是專人送來的還是郵寄來的?

2. with one’s hand(s) 不是固定短語(即是自由短語)，只表示一般意義的“用手”(而不是用口，用腳，用眼睛等)。如：

We work with our hands. 我們用手工作。
