關(guān)閉窗口 7. 能按漢語直譯“我工作忙”嗎

此題應(yīng)選D。其余三項(xiàng)均容易被誤選。
按照漢語習(xí)慣, 我們經(jīng)常說：我工作很忙, 我的事很忙, 我的學(xué)習(xí)很忙等, 但是在英美人看來, “忙”的不是“工作”或“學(xué)習(xí)”等, 而是“人”, 即是“人”忙, 所以要表示以上意思, 按照英語的習(xí)慣只需說 I’m busy. 就行了, 若非要具體表明是忙于做某事, 則可用類似以下這樣的表達(dá)：
I’m busy with [at, over] my work. 我工作很忙。
He’s busy preparing for it. 他在忙于為此作準(zhǔn)備。
類例：
我的身體很好。
正：I’m healthy. / I’m in good health. / I’m well.
誤：My body is good. / My body is healthy.
他在哪兒教書?
正：Where does he teach?
誤：Where does he teach books?
誰教你們的英語?
正：Who teaches you English?
誤：Who teaches your English?
雞蛋價(jià)格很貴。
正：The eggs are expensive.
正：The price of eggs is high.
誤：The price of eggs is expensive.
8. “看書”不能用look at嗎

此題應(yīng)選C。容易誤選A, 這要從英語對(duì)“讀書”和“看書”的表達(dá)習(xí)慣說起：
漢語的“看書”和“讀書”, 其實(shí)有兩層含義：
1. 指閱讀性地“看書”或“讀書”, 此時(shí)一般是用動(dòng)詞read：
He has read through all these books. 他已通讀了所有這些書。
When I entered, he was reading a book. 我進(jìn)來時(shí)他正在看書。
I’ve read your book with pleasure. 我已高興地拜讀了你的大作。
2. 不指閱讀性地“看書”, 而只是大概地看一看, 比如看看書的封面、定價(jià)、內(nèi)容提要等, 或者回答問題時(shí)看看書的某些章節(jié)或字句等, 或者是考試時(shí)偷看書本等, 此時(shí)通常用look at, see等：
Can I look at those books? 我可以看看那些書嗎?
He demanded to see my books. 他要求看看我的書。
Please answer my questions without looking atyour books. 請(qǐng)不看書回答我的問題。
Students must not look at their books duringexaminations. 學(xué)生考試不準(zhǔn)看書。
