此題應選A。容易誤選B。關于這個問題, 考生要注意以下搭配：
1. 有的考生根據 take part in(參加某一活動)和 join(加入某一組織, 并成為其中的一成員)這一區別, 推出“參加考試”是用動詞 take part in。其實按照英語習慣, “參加考試”既不用join, 也不用take part in, 而是用take：
He was ill and didn’t take the examination. 他病了, 沒有參加這次考試。
Millions and millions of students take thecollege entrance examinations every year. 每年都有成千上萬的學生參加高考。
2. 表示“通過考試”或“考試及格”, 英語習慣上用動詞pass, 而不用cross：
He didn’t study hard, so he didn’t pass the exam. 他學習不努力, 所以考試沒有及格。
3. 表示“考試不及格”或“沒有通過考試”, 英語習慣上用動詞fail (in), 當然也可以用pass的否定式：
He failed (in) the maths exam again. 他這次數學考試又沒有及格。
About half of the students didn’t pass the exam. 這次考試中大約有一半學生沒及格。

此題應選B。容易誤選D。因為按照漢語習慣, 通常只說“搖頭”, 而不說“搖他的頭”。
在漢語中, 像“我的”、“你的”這類詞有時可以省略, 但在英語中, 這類相應的物主代詞卻通常不宜省略：

有時英語中也可以省略物主代詞：
他來時, 我正在吃早餐。
正：When he came, I was having breakfast.
正：When he came, I was having my breakfast.
但是有時物主代詞的有無, 會產生語義上的差異：
lose heart 灰心
lose one’s heart (to) 傾心于(某人), 愛上(某人)
15. 你知道人稱代詞的排列習慣

此題應選A。其余都可能被誤選。關于人稱代詞的排列, 這是一個比較復雜的問題, 有時可能根據不同的語境或說話的強調點等的不同, 而有所變化。但是作為一般的原則, 以下幾點排列習慣是英語學習者要注意的：
1. 單數人稱代詞的排列, 通常是二、三、一：
